Denisa is now a part of the Cafe of Life on Swiss Ave...at least online anyway. She has been serving there for a while, but now you can see her beautiful face on the website. The new, updated website went online a couple of nights ago, and it's pretty sweet. I'm so proud of Denisa and her passion for serving others through chiropractic. The Cafe of Life here has been such a blessing for both of us, and now Denisa is serving there. What a great experience. Here's the link in case you want to check it out: http://www.cafeoflifedallas.com/.

Fun times at the Webers...
Yes, I can post blogs as well:) Tristan has been quite the blogoholic and is always asking me to post more often because things change with us on a moment-to-moment basis. So here goes...
After being overwhelmed with morning sickness for 2 months, I am back to "myself" and am able to run errands, do activities I want to do, and most importantly...able to want and eat food!!:) I am so thrilled that I am pregnant during the fall/winter mainly b/c it includes holidays that involve lots of yummy foods!! This is going to be a "guilt-free" thanksgiving and christmas for me folks:) Tristan loves "pregnant Denisa" b/c she likes to have dessert (Tristan's favorite part of any meal) and likes to talk about food often. It is like there is another Tristan in the house!! Watch out we could be in a lot of trouble:/
We purchased a crib yesterday and assembled it last night. Correction: Tristan assembled it last night with only a little help from me:) He was reading the instructions while all the stuff was laid out on the floor...and he looked up at me and said "Wow. I can't believe we are doing this." We both laughed b/c it is just so surreal.
About 3 weeks ago I FINALLY could tell what a baby movement (quickening) felt like! I guess I was just passing it off as something else prior to then but now I know. Then a week later as I was going to sleep I could feel the "lil one" moving and wondered if I put my hand on my tummy if I could feel it. Sure enough, I could!!! Completely CRAZY! I woke Tristan up to feel it but of course it stopped:/ Since then Tristan has felt baby-Weber punch and kick quite a few times. I just got back from visiting my parents and grandparents in Round Rock this weekend and my mom was determined to see and/or feel the baby move. She put her head on my tummy and the baby kicked her in the ear!! Haha!
Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby until 2 nanoseconds after birth, we have chosen colors we thought could work for a girl or a boy: black, white, and lime green. My mom has already made all the bedding for the crib: bumpers, sheets, dustruffle, etc. and it looks incredible! She also has made the bassinett stuff as well since we are using the bassinett mom used for me and Allison. Oh, as if there could be more, she and my dad also refurnished an old rocking chair, painted it black, and recovered it with lime green fabric!! She is TURBO-Mom:) You would have thought the baby was coming tomorrow! haha! We are so grateful for all of the time and effort she has put into all these "projects" that she has loved doing.
I will be posting some "baby bump" pics soon as well as some pictures of the chair and crib bedding mom has made...so stay tuned:)
Peace,
Denisa
